Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-folding and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is an excellent alternative for those who fly. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm, but it still meets the airline’s hand luggage regulations and can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline Approval). We found it was easy to clean using just a wipe down, and there were a variety of additional items available such as nappy bags, footmuffs and buggy organiser bags that strap to the handles and hoods, providing UV50+ protection.
We love the way that it is so compact when folded down, and how it fits easily through small spaces like shops narrow alleyways and Jane’s tiny terrace house It’s also easier to manoeuvre up and down the stairs. The bumper bar doubles as a handle for carrying and there’s a large, flip-flop friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it will still hold a large changing bag. There are also tray to store snacks, drinks and toys.
It is suitable for babies from birth. There are adaptors available to use it in conjunction with the Leclerc Baby Carrycot. For older children there’s a backrest that flattens to make it perfect for extended nap times or walks. The smart 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie has a goal to “share happiness with parents who are expecting” by designing pushchairs that are “functional and stylish, as well as innovative”. The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand’s most recent offering. It’s designed to take two children side-by-side in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both kids can see the world around them.
With a weight of just under 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the lightest strollers for siblings available. It is suitable for use starting at the time of birth and is compatible with a Joie car seats or carrycots. It’s easy for you to fold and lift, drive and ride. The frame’s clever design can be expanded to accommodate a second child seat.
Out ‘n’ About say the one-handed fold is a highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were impressed with how quickly and easily it can be put together. They did note that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces than other models.
The front seat does not fully recline, and parents were forced to use their hands to lower it. This is something they’d prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with some tweaks. They love how compact it is when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, gives parents the variety they need. It’s compatible with a variety of car seats and uses a one-click system to fold and fold, making it ideal to take with you on the go. It also comes with a variety of accessories that other brands will charge separately like rain covers and liners.
iCandy’s Peach pushchair is a favored choice for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The new 2022 Peach has been updated with a few minor tweaks to improve performance and functionality without sacrificing aesthetics.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It is also a little smaller than the older Peach model, but it still has all the space that your child could need.
It’s a great double stroller for parents who are looking for something that looks good and has a lot of flexibility. You can use it as a single stroller from birth, and then purchase the double stroller with infant car seat buggy for twins (ai-db.science) kit to make it into a twin buggy. It comes with a large basket as well as five reclining positions to ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also comes with an easy fold that can be folded with one hand and an integrated carry strap. It is a bit heavy to store, especially because it folds in two parts instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is one of the best twin buggies available. The seats can be fitted with liners and footmuffs that keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot is easy to attach with the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is large and comfortable. The seat and carrycot are arranged in many configurations and the Orange chassis has an amazing 30 combinations.
The wheels are built to withstand rough roads and terrain. There is also an enormous shopping basket that’s perfect for large supermarkets. The pushchair is light and easy to drive. The rounded pedal brake makes it simple to use, but not for flip-flops. It’s not the easiest to fold, and the latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to unlock. Once it’s collapsed the front wheels slide under the basket, and the chassis can stand.
The Orange is ideal for parents who are fashion-conscious and have children or toddlers and want a stroller that will be able to adapt to the child. It’s also a good option for parents expecting an additional child in the near future who want a flexible double pushchair. Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by an Australian, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim and is able to slide through doors and easily maneuver around tight shopping aisles. It is one of the smallest, most feature-packed double buggies on the market and has won many awards including the 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The seats are narrow enough to let children of various ages to sit comfortably together. They also have independent reclining so that kids can pick their preferred seating position. The large canopies have flick-out sun visors and the storage basket is spacious. It is compatible with nearly all brands and can accept two infant car seat adapters when you purchase car seats.
The only issue is the weight. It weighs 32.4 lbs and may be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. It’s also more expensive than other double side-by-side buggies. It is built to last and it offers many advantages for the money. It’s a good option for parents in urban areas who want to avoid lugging a bulky stroller around. The padding of the harnesses, the 5-point buckle, and straps with padding make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a fashionable and practical design. It’s a premium product, but it’s not without its faults.
For one, it offers very little in terms of additional conveniences for the kids and the parents. There’s a tiny side bin in the seat, but it’s only accessible when one seat is attached – and that’s the only thing it has. There aren’t any parent tray cup holders, cup holders, or accessory pockets and this could be problematic for long journeys.
The seats aren’t able to recline to a flat position and the gap between them is a bit wide which is why our 5 year old was unable to lie back comfortably. It’s unfortunate considering that this is a high-end vehicle.
On the positive side, it’s easy to maneuver and the swivel wheels are great in climbing steep slopes and steps. It’s also small enough to fit into most doors and folds easily for easy storage and transport. It can also be switched back to mono mode in just three clicks if you ever require more space or need to get away. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate a third kid if needed. If you’re on budget there are alternatives that are less expensive. If you love the brand and are able to afford it, it’s well worth the cost.
